Tenterden Museum is entirely run by a team of dedicated volunteers.
There are lots of ways in which you can get involved, and full training is given to all new volunteers, who are supported by our experienced management team.
Whether you are interested in becoming a Museum steward or tour guide, or helping out with school visits, or if you would rather work ‘behind the scenes’ on special exhibitions or social media, there are plenty of opportunities.
We are open every day, from April 1st until mid-December, and all we ask is that you commit to a maximum of one session (morning or afternoon) each week. It’s a great way to meet people and you will learn lots about local history as well.
