THERE IS MORE TO DO
THAN JUST MEMBERSHIP

Tenterden Museum is entirely run by Volunteers. There is a lot involved in running our Museum:

• Museum Stewards are needed to open the Museum
  every day from 1st April to early December.
  We ask you to give us a maximum of one session (morning or afternoon) a week.
  Flexible hours to fit in with your other activities. Training is given with a seasoned steward. Great for meeting people!
• Joining our team of Museum Guides to provide parties of visitors with guided tours of the Museum (full training given)
• Assisting our Schools Co-ordinator with sessions in schools delivering local history sessions to school-children
• Assisting with our Technology and Social Media activities
• Assisting the Special Exhibitions Manager develop and deliver the rolling program of special exhibitions and events.
• Cataloguing of the many hundreds of documents held at the museum.

Appropriate training will be given on all the roles by experienced museum team managers.
