Guided Museum Tours
Join us for an exclusive private tour of our museum, led by one of our expert tour guides who will share fascinating insights into the history and background of some of our most interesting exhibits.
Your tour guide will showcase a selection of key pieces from each of our exhibition rooms, and if your group has a particular area of interest, please let us know in advance, and we’ll be happy to search our collection for relevant items.
Guided tours run for approximately 45 minutes, with additional time for questions, and are priced at £5 per head for a minimum of 10 people. If your group would like refreshments after the tour, we’ve partnered with several local cafés offering discounts.

Museum Experience Nights
Our three themed Experience Nights proved extremely popular in 2024, and we’re now busy preparing an exciting line up for 2025, including ‘Tales of Victorian Tenterden’ and ‘Tenterden Through War to Peace’. Stories are brought to life through live performances, accompanied by a selection of delicious canapes and sparkling wine, and are an unusual and entertaining way to delve into Tenterden’s past.
Bookings must be made in advance, and are priced at £25 per person, however Patrons and Members are offered a discounted price of £20 each. In addition to our scheduled Experience Nights, private party bookings can be arranged for clubs and societies on dates throughout the year.
