Tenterden & District Museum welcomes new members to join free regular events. Why become a member?
- You would be joining over 200 people locally who also care for and preserve our cultural history.
- Members enjoy unlimited access to documents, maps, house histories and genealogy housed in Tenterden & District Museum.
- Members are sent four newsletters per year, these include articles of local historical interest and forthcoming events organised by the Museum Association.

Museum Evenings
Museum Evenings are held on the last Thursday of every month between April and November. Events begin at 7pm and refreshments are provided. This year, our programme offers you the opportunity to discover more about the museum’s collection, events in local history and some of our members’ historical passions.
Some of our Museum Evenings are held at the Tenterden Social Hub. Entry to all Museum Evening events is free to all Patrons and Members, but spaces are limited, so BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL. Listings for our entire year’s programme of Museum Evenings are under the ‘What’s On’ tab; information about individual evenings will be listed in the ‘Events’ page within that tab.
